PTA Home Page
This is the home page for Minchinhampton School Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Everyone who is a teacher or a parent of a child at the school is a member of the PTA. The role of the PTA is to raise funds for the school and we run a range of events throughout the year to entertain both children and adults.
This year we have held a Fashion Show, a Christmas Fair and we are planning an Easter Egg Hunt, a golf day, Summer Ball and Summer Fair. We hold regular monthly meetings where events are discussed and we agree where the funds should be directed. Last year we raised over £17,000 which has funded tables for the playgrounds, books, football goals and various trips for the children.
We have an AGM in September when a Commitee is elected, A Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. Last year we changed the way events are managed, small groups of helpers an parents take on a particular event and organise it, this has helped in sreading the effort and in generating new ideas and approaches.
We always welcome new member and any help you can give whether big or small will be appreciated, the additional funds we raise really does make a difference for our children.
