Music - Minchinhampton School Orchestra

The school orchestra is led by Mrs. Hale at Minchinhampton School. It is a very talented orchestra. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 8.20 a.m. We play many different instruments:
Cellos, clarinets, flutes, recorders, trumpets, trombones, cornets, glockenspiels, an e flat bass and percussion. In the summer, the orchestra was auditioned to take part in the Gloucestershire Primary School's Orchestral Prom in Cheltenham in June. We have been successful and we performed at the Prom on June 24th. We completed a short minute performance and played three pieces -St. Anthony's Chorale, Greensleeves and When I'm 64! We were all very excited about taking part! Our parents, Headteacher and teachers said they were all very proud of us.
